Amit Somani

Amit brings over 25 years’ of global experience in technology and internet industries. He has held Product and Tech Leadership roles at Google, Makemytrip and IBM including over a dozen years at Silicon Valley. As the Chief Products Officer for MakeMyTrip, Amit led the entire online product portfolio and was a part of the leadership team that took the company public on NASDAQ in 2010. Prior, one of the Ads products Amit led at Google went on to win the Founders Award. Amit has also been named LinkedIn India TopVoices in 2018 and 2019.

Amit holds a B.S Computer Science (Gold medalist) from Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Amit loves to travel around the world, is a sports enthusiast, enjoys reading and is a fusion chef!
